About Pixel
Pixel is a sharp theme for tech reviews. A bento homepage, score rings, price chips and automatic Pros, Cons and Verdict boxes turn plain editor content into clear, scannable reviews.
Who it is for
- You review phones, laptops, audio or any product with a score
- You want a modern, app-like look
- You sell membership access to some reviews
- You want review boxes without a plugin
Probably not for you if
- You publish daily news — see Gazette
- You write long essays — see Marlowe
- You need price comparison feeds or affiliate data tables
Pages and layouts
Page templates: Topics, Writers, Membership, Signin, Signup, Account.
Extra post layouts: Cover.
Getting set up
- Scores: add an internal tag such as #score 8.8 to a review. Add #price $899 for the price chip.
- Top rated: mark your best reviews as Featured. Pixel orders them by score.
- Upload the theme zip in Ghost Admin → Settings → Design, then fill in the theme settings.
- Import the sample content if you want to start from the demo and replace it with your own posts.
What you download
- The theme, ready for Ghost 6.0 or later (pixel_1.0.0)
- Documentation in HTML
- Sample content you can import into Ghost
- 12 months of updates and support from the people who built it
Requirements
A Ghost 6 site: Ghost(Pro) on a plan that allows custom themes, or self-hosted Ghost. Memberships and paid tiers use Ghost's own members feature and its Stripe connection; the theme adds the pages and the paywall design. Demo photos are not included in the download.
