About Launch
Launch is a bright blog theme for SaaS products and startups. A gradient hero, a real changelog with version badges, release notes with New / Improved / Fixed labels and screenshots in browser frames help product updates turn into signups.
Who it is for
- You run a software product and blog about it
- You publish release notes and want a real changelog
- You want guides and customer stories to lead to a signup
- You sell a members-only newsletter or course on the side
Probably not for you if

- You review gadgets with scores — see Pixel
Pages and layouts
Page templates: Changelog, Topics, Writers, Membership, Signin, Signup, Account.
Extra post layouts: Release notes.
Getting set up
- Changelog: create a page with the slug changelog and choose the Changelog template. Add an internal tag #v 1.0.0 to each release post.
- Hero: set Hero title in the theme settings and mark your best posts as Featured. The newest featured post appears in the browser window.
- Call to action: set the CTA title, text, button and link, or leave the title empty to hide the card.
- Upload the theme zip in Ghost Admin → Settings → Design, then fill in the theme settings.
- Import the sample content if you want to start from the demo and replace it with your own posts.
What you download
- The theme, ready for Ghost 6.0 or later (launch_1.0.0)
- Documentation in HTML
- Sample content you can import into Ghost
- 12 months of updates and support from the people who built it
Requirements
A Ghost 6 site: Ghost(Pro) on a plan that allows custom themes, or self-hosted Ghost. Memberships and paid tiers use Ghost's own members feature and its Stripe connection; the theme adds the pages and the paywall design. Demo photos are not included in the download.
